I had RPK for two classes, but I'm going to rate him for the Dada class, because that's his element. The class challenged me, but it's still probably my favorite art history class. Really unconventional teaching methods. I love his firsthand stories about seeing exhibits, but I wish he didn't pick …more favorites so much. less

What can you say about Kinsman? His classes aren't "easy" by conventional standards, but he loves his subject matter. And he loves his students. And taking his classes is a completely fantastic experience. If I could have him for the rest of my art history classes, I would.

Patrick is amazing! His classes aren't an "easy A," but he will do everything he can to help you (paper extensions, meeting after class, whatever). He loves his subject matter so much, you can't help but share his enthusiasm. I strongly recommend taking ANY class he teaches

There aren't enough words to praise RPK's classes. (seriously, they limit you to 350 characters.)He is one of the best, if not THE best, profs I have ever had. He's fantastic not only in a class setting, but also just if you have general advising or life questions. Best professor ever, hands down, …more no question. less

Patrick is the most helpful, most knowledgeable, most humble, most understand professor I have ever had.He is one of the most intelligent guys around, but welcomes students to fill him in on artists he might not be as familiar with. He works with you on everything - whatever your problem is, he …more will do everything he can to help. LOVE HIS CLASSES. less

It be rare a time that a person of this magnitude is made yet alone accessible, well spoken and a kick ass teacher. Kinsman has devoted brain space to a little bit of everything ever and still has room to listen and learn. He has the stupefying ability to tune into what ever frequency a discussion …more is on and contribute rather than commandeer. #psl less

Patrick is amazing. I'm not that crazy about contemporary art, but he always makes the material interesting and he is more than willing to help if needed.
