He is a very nice guy. Although, I think he believes every student is going into public health. The 2 exams I had in that class were so hard, class average of a D. There were over 30 multiple choice questions, 30 matching, and several essay questions. You also had to get it done in 45 minutes. …more There were so many papers and quizzes each week. less

Tim is a really nice guy and very knowledgeable on the subject of Epidemiology. He only gives quizzes if people stop attending class. It is not a super hard class as long as you do the work. The formulas are really the only hard part. Tests can be too long for the time we have, but he learns from …more his mistakes. less

I was in two of his classes, one of them being his Zombie Apocalypse class (do not take this class expecting it to be about zombies, it's about doomsday infections). His lectures were INCREDIBLY helpful and descriptive. Tests and discussions were easy. Books were interesting. Loved this class.

I could not wait to review him. To start off, the title of this class is misleading, (Zombie Apocalypse) only the first week and the first essay was about zombies and the rest about diseases. You also have to write three essays ( for a science class??) in which he does a HORRIBLE job of telling you …more what exactly what he wants you to do. less

This is the most horrific professor i've had my entire college career. I'm a junior and am required to take this class as a dental hygiene major. As i am taking 4 other extremely difficult science classes, there is no way for anyone to keep up with all of the work that is due in this class. Not to …more mention there is a 100 point essay due the firstday less

Principles of Epidemiology Course - He packs in a lot of material but as long as you put some time in every week its not too bad. I learned a lot and now am pretty interested in a career in epidemiology.

I took this class thinking it would be a fun elective, but it was WAY more difficult than my actual core classes. The lectures are extremely long, but interesting. There's a ton of homework and reading, and the tests are very difficult. He does not give out study guides either, so you're on your …more own. The lectures don't prepare you for the exams. less
