I took Control of Crime with Wan-Ning Bao. She was really very nice... but sometimes quite hard to understand. She is originally from China and despite being in the states for a number of years, her accent is very strong. Work for the class is fairly easy, and tests are fairly straight forward.

Notes are simple and easy to understand. She does have an accent, but you can still understand her. I found her exams to be difficult. She asks a lot of "Which one is not..." or "All of the following except..." questions and her questions are very specific. There is heavy …more reading required. She does enjoy teaching though, despite her curriculum less

I havent even completed the class and I absoultely hate it. Her notes are straight foward but her test are not and she doesn't even understand half of her questions. How do you give a test and have to ask what it means?? No, she doesn't need to teach this class because she has no clue about …more what goes on in society books can't tell you everything less

This class is very straightforward. There is a lot of reading required, tests/quizzes are somewhat tricky, but the professor is very nice, yet hard to understand sometimes. If you do the required reading, participate in discussion, and review your notes you will do fine!

This class is one of the most boring classes I've ever taken. lots of reading and boring material. Plus semi-difficult tests/quizzes. But very nice prof!

This class was pretty straightforward, if not boring. If you show up to class, listen most of the time, and skim the book, you'll be golden. She does have an accent, but she's not very hard to understand. She seems like a really nice person, and she's a pretty decent prof.

I really enjoyed the class. She is a great professor. Very nice! She is encouraging. Doesn't make you feel inferior if you answer a question with something different than she would say. Tests are tough, but if you do the homework, reading, and pay attention in class you can obtain an A! I enjoyed …more listening to her lectures. less

Wan-Ning seems like a really hard professor, but in the end she bumped my grade up by A LOT. So if you show your true colors and genuinely try in her class, you will do just fine.

This professor was absolutely horrible. If you were late to class she would not give you attendance points even if it was a couple minutes. She randomly gave pop quizzes that were a huge chunk of your grade. There is a ton of reading to do and her teaching style is very boring. she is also very …more hard to understand when she is talking. less
