Very easy professor and very helpful. Does NOT use textbook at all. Tests are straight from the lecture notes and sometimes he will e-mail his notes out to help. His class is based on 300 points (3 100 point tests), and you only need a 90% to get an A. No homework assignments and each class is a …more lecture only. Highly recommend Akers. less

Easy class, if you do well on tests. Your only grades are 3, 100 point tests. He is usually good and doing, specific, test reviews the class before a test. The test is written from his lecture notes which he e-mails out. The tests are all M.C., except the last one where there was one written one, …more but the answer could be found within the test. less

Prof. Akers is easily one of the best professors at UIndy. Generally, our lectures are over in 15-20 minutes. You don't even have to take notes because he sends the class his lecture notes. The only thing you'll have to do is study for the tests, but he has a review day before the test going over …more specifically what's on the test. 13/10 recommend. less
