She is not good at teaching. She is a nice person but she is a very hard grader and not good at conveying concepts.

She's a nice person but she always made me feel dumb when I would ask her for help.... Also I feel like she just isn't a good professor

She can be very manipulative and it wasnt very professional. She has a stuck up attitude and makes herself seem like shes better than others. When you go to ask for help, she talks to you like a 4 year old child. I would suggest to take a different teacher.

Prof Christianson is very knowledgable about chemistry. The tests are hard for this class, and there's a bit of a learning curve when figuring out how to study for them. Also the homework is pretty hard, but if you get good grades on them it can really help you in the long run. But Christianson …more isn't bad, she's very helpful outside class. less

I took her during her first semester of teaching. In the beginning it was clear that she was new. I feel like people were a little too rough on her. She improved significantly and truly wants her students to succeed. She wants the effort. I am taking her again next semester. She has tons of office …more hours. She knows chemistry inside and out! less

Dr. Christianson is a great teacher and wants you to succeed. Her class can be very difficult at times, but she does do a great job at answering any questions you may have about the material and is glad to help you outside of class.

I had Dr. Christianson for CHEM 103 and 104. I honestly would have failed if I would have taken anyone else as I am terrible at math. Her exams are HARD, you better know your stuff. She is one of the most helpful professors I have ever had. She's ALWAYS in her office and is always willing to help. …more Super kind and really wants her students to do well less

Dr. Christianson is a TOUGH teacher, but if you're willing to put in the effort, so is she. She is very caring and is always available and willing to help. When she says that you should do the readings and homework, she definitely means it. The tests are hard but doable. Overall I would recommend …more her, she lays a great chemistry foundation for you. less

Dr. Christianson is a very nice person who cares about her students. She's good at explaining things & is willing to help outside of class. Her tests are extremely difficult compared to her homework & examples in class. I recommend getting a tutor to get a head start on things. She wants …more her students to think critically & gives in class problems. less
