Overall, very convoluted. Raymond only alludes to the big ideas and often makes arithmetic mistakes. She talks much too quickly. On tests, word your answers with care because she is very particular.

She's very into math and usually checks her answers on a calculator. Some times she seems like she's on mars and you really need to study for test

Linear Algebra- easy material, but she gives quizzes every three classes that often take about 90 mins to take. Nearly impossible to get an A, as there is not enough test time and she grades very hard, especially for definitions. She wants the actual book definitions, not what the terms actually …more mean. Should've easily gotten an A in this class. less

I took Raymond for Math 101 and 102 and I loved her! She's cooky and funny which makes her a great teacher. Most all of the projects are fun and she works hard to make sure you enjoy the class. The only down point is how often you get tested. This helps to keep your grade up though!

Dr. Raymond is a wonderful teacher! She is very enthusiastic, which I just love. She is very accessible to answer questions and is patient when helping you figure out concepts you don't understand. She is very picky regarding definitions in the book. She grades very hard, but it helps you …more understand the concepts. less

Dr. Raymond is very energetic and helps class not be boring. You cannot miss a class, however, because you can really miss important concepts that are difficult to pick up from copied notes or from the text. She is great at helping pushing you in a direction for a proof without giving the answer.

One of the best teachers! She loves her job and is very passionate about math and education. I have never seen her not in a good mood! She explains the material very well which helps you be able to teach it to your students one day. Don't think that Elementary math is a piece of cake tho! Several …more people in my class have failed and had to retake! less

She's very spunky and full of energy. Dr. Raymond love's math if not more than teaching it. She will teach you multiple approaches to a new concept or new material, but it's her way or no way when it comes to tests. The class is very test heavy and there's something important going on almost every …more class. She doesn't answer or explain things well. less

Dr. Raymond is an absolute sweetheart. She is super passionate about math and gets super excited to teach. The one issue I have with her is the way she teaches. Lectures can be very disorganized and all over the place and basically every class is just her answering problems on the board. She loves …more to give partial credit on quizzes and exams though. less

Haaaard grader. Got the right answers on stuff and would get points taken off for adding extra stuff alongside it. Miss one day and you will feel like you got hit by a train. Tests never align with your current coursework so you have to make your brain jump everywhere. wish it was more organized …more and that I got more feedback or room to fix tests less
