Mosley is a very good but difficult professor! He grades essays very strictly and tests are extremely challenging. Lots of reading, but he always goes over the next day in class. If you are struggling, go meet him in his office, he will help!

The best professor I've ever had. Very difficult tests, lots of reading. However, he goes over everything in class. If you are a person who needs a very organized syllabus, he is not the teacher for you. He often parts from the lesson plan to talk about relevant and interesting philosophical …more topics. He is excellent! less

Dr. Mos is AWESOME, he is really funny in a mellow, sarcastic way and I found him to be easy (got an A+ on the essay and a 92 on the test, no reason to study for me) Our tests grades were pretty much- a lotta high grades and a lotta really low grades. As long as you buy his book and listen to what …more he says, theres no way you can't get at least a B. less

GREAT professor. He has realistic expectations for an entry level course and you really do learn a lot. Mosley is hilarious and will sometimes go off on an interesting tangent during class. The course itself is pretty easy but he's tougher on essays than on tests.

Took during the summer but for being there for three hours he kept interest and had good discussion. He was a great teacher would definitely take his class again. Just have to read the books and you'll do well. But I didn't read all the time and did okay

Dr. Mosely is AWESOME. The thought of taking a Philosophy class terrified me, but he made it easy to understand and even interesting.

Mosley seems like a nice guy, but I had one problem with him in the course: His syllabus says that if you drop a letter grade every time you are late to or miss a class, with no grace period. That's fine, but by that standard, he failed his own class. We only got through about half of what our …more syllabus said we would cover because of his absences... less

David Mosley is the head of the department for philosophy, however, his course load is not overwhelming. He is a tough grader at times yet you can earn points back if you explain your answers. Tests are mix/match, fill in the blank and very short essay questions that he would clearly explain what …more will be on the tests. May arrive to class a tad late less

Dr. Mosley is my favorite professor, so far. He is the only one I would respect learning the class material from. Some of the work is difficult, but he is willing to work with you

Make sure you make time to visit him. You learn more in his office than you do anywhere else.
