She may know what she is talking about, but her teaching style is very boring. Monotone and tends to explain the bare minimum on the powerpoints she uses. Tests can be confusing and some information may not be covered. Read the textbook and powerpoints. You'll be fine.

Although kind of boring she is a wonderful lady. She will work with you as long as you keep good communication. She cares about the wellbeing and success of her students.

HW and Quiz each week. When doing the HW there is a tab to the side that looks like a piece of paper says 123, click on that to help you solve the problem. Also, you have 5 attempts for each question, so even when it says "final attempt" you can click "try again" and it will give you the answer and …more then let you answer it! The exams are all math! less

The quizzes she assigns online don't always reflect the correct grade. I had to get her to correct my grade on several quizzes. She seems like a nice lady but she is awkward and scatter brained. Her teaching style is also very boring and involves reading off slides in a monotone voice.

This class was very easy and almost pointless. Weekly quizzes and homework assignments. The homework assignments were an automatic 100 & the quizzes were time-consuming but overall easy. Weekly participation posts on AsULearn were a joke and took up time. Necessary class for any COB student but …more it's easy. No face-to-face communication. less

Dr. Ellington was very helpful for this difficult class of POM. There were assignments due every week, yes it was time consuming but it was a requirement. Dr. Ellington was there during her office hours if you had any questions, always answered e-mails with questions. She is a great professor to …more take for any CIS/POM related class. less

During the intro to CIS class that is required, Dr. Ellington made the class very enjoyable. There were informative power points, as well as in-class assignments to help us better understand computer information systems. She always went over some questions that will be on the test. She cares for …more her students. less

During CIS 2 that is required for some COB majors, Dr. Ellington did her best to make sure that we were involved with this subject. The material for this second CIS class was much more difficult than the first, but Dr. Ellington was there if there were any questions or concerns throughout the …more semester. less

Do not take this class online during the summer! HW and quiz or an exam due every 2 days (including weekends) AND you basically have to teach yourself, since she has minimal contact with the students. Most of it is math problems, with a crapton of formulas to memorize. Most pointless class I have …more taken so far. less

This class was very easy, HW and quizzes were due every other day w/ weekends, but if you make use of the email the professor link provided by the website, or just email her in general, she will always make time and explain the questions thoroughly, I met with her a lot, she was incredibly helpful. …more Recommended if you're not afraid to ask for help. less
