Five exams, 10 pop quizzes, a group presentation & a paper. Overall, class isn't bad. Attendance isn't mandatory except for on presentation days, BUT 80 points of your grade comes from his version of "participation" so if go to class and pay attention. Exams are primarily T/F & come …more straight from the book less

Great teacher, class is not hard at all. All tests are multiple choice and t/f and really easy. There is a group presentation and group paper but its not that bad. He also lets you watch episodes of the office in class. Take him for OB.

His lectures are awesome, but his grading scale is convoluted and confusing. His tests are difficult. Don't expect a high participation grade, even if you actively participate. Overall a good professor, but given the chance to do it over, I wouldn't take him again.

attendance not mandatory, but randomly gives out heavily weighted pop quizzes. very clear and concise lectures; he makes it very clear what is expected of you. one group project, but it's not terrible... and he's very well-dressed.

Whitaker is the man! Three tests and an optional final. One group project. Get to watch the office in class. He's great at keeping things interesting despite how dry the subject can be. You probably won't be asking many questions, but when you need to, he's always willing to help! I highly suggest …more taking him. less

Pretty fun lectures, but he does pop quizzes and grades you on actual class participation. If you just show up, you'll likely still fail his participation grade, which is about as big as a test grade. His tests aren't the easiest, either, but the material is fairly common sense.

Dr. Whitaker is a great professor. I took him for performance MGT and he is SUPER knowledgeable on the subject. His class has inspired me to look into IO psych and HR. Expect to read tons of research articles throughout the course. Take him if you want to learn a TON and to learn practical skills …more for the workplace. Participation is everything! less
