The material for this class is easy enough, but he asked questions on the tests that we didn't cover in class. Also, if you have any questions for him, be prepared not to get an actual answer, but 5 minutes worth of babbling. He's an extremely entertaining man. I found myself cracking up in class …more because he's so absurd. He curves the final grades. less

Interesting guy but class is very difficult. If you stick with it and do everything for the lab you will get a passing grade.

Great class, i've heard negative things about agro I, but Christof really enjoys teaching agro II. I walked away with a greater perspective on agriculture in general and even though classes are 2.5 hours long, they were always very engaging and consisted of open discussion. if you're an SD major …more you should not leave ASU without taking this class. less

I wouldn't really recommend him. Very dense powerpoints and course material, asks stupid test questions just to try and trip you up, tests are very hard and weirdly formatted.

So, I like Christof a lot as a person, but he honestly should not be a professor... he should be in the field. His intelligence and knowledge about sustainability and world hunger were amazing, but the man simply shouldn't teach in a classroom. He's disorganized and extremely confusing, like a mad …more genius of farming. less

I've heard great things about Christof for farm ops, but please don't take him for agroecology if you want hands on experience and real involvement with the material. It's clear he's knowledgeable but these are some of the poorest lectures I've encountered in my college career and make material I …more love a trudge. I suggest Anne Fanatico instead. less

I wanted to cry walking into this class everyday because it was so boring but attendance is mandatory. Very nice guy but possibly the worst teacher Ive ever had he just doesnt know how to teach. He rambles all class long and then gives you tests and assignments that dont make any sense

Incredibly knowledgable on the material he teaches. Can be a little difficult to follow at times but knows his stuff.

This class is a requirement for the major, and by no means my specialty. He is a very knowledgeable and kind person, but he is not suited for teaching. I went into this course hoping to learn the subject matter, but he teaches it like it should already be known. He grades like i am a professional, …more while I am still trying to learn the material. less
