Chris was very kind during our class and you could tell he truly was invested in his subject area. Could be very scatterbrained at times, and it could be hard to follow where he was going in lecture. It is probably better to ask questions and participate in lecture because he would ask for it and …more we would be silent. It might help w/ understanding less

I took Santiago for Cultural Anthropology, and he is probably my favorite professor I have had thus far. He is really passionate about what he is teaching, and I learned a lot from him. Really make sure you do the readings!! Overall he was really great and there was a nice atmosphere to the class.

Professor Santiago is a nice, very knowledgable guy, but he is all over the place when he is teaching. He assigns a ton of reading and hardly any of it is connected. Again, great guy and very passionate about his research as well, but he is all over the place when he teaches. Class was much more …more involved than a 1000 lvl course should be. less

He is very scattered during class, making it impossible to enjoy the content. Class is dreadful but you are only given two absences. You have a reading assignment as HW every class period and they are HEAVY. Three tests are given in one semester making up your final grade. I understand some classes …more are just necessary, but his class is a waste of $. less

Dr. Santiago is passionate about his work and the topics he discusses. This is not an easy A, but it was worth it. You must read and participate. If you do the class is easy and he will give you review days prior to class. If you don't read he will assign quizzes. He is finding his way as a …more professor but he seems to be going in a good direction. less

Dr Santiago has been one of the most impressionable people I have encountered. His approach towards the classroom is enticing and breaks through stagnated patterns that many professors continually fall into. Curiosity drives the class and you get out of it what you give to it. The readings in this …more class have genuinely shifted paradigms for me less

Santiago is one of the most passionate professors I've taken. You can tell when he speaks that he truly cares about what he's teaching. He'll work with you to help you out and the tests are really straightforward. My friend loves him as well. I've genuinely learned a lot in that class and I'm glad …more I took the course! 10/10. less

Dr. Santiago is an incredible professor. I had him for intro to Cultural Anthro and he was the single most inspiring professor I had taken a class with. His passion for the discipline is immediately evident. He will work with you if you show that your trying. His lectures will keep you awake. Not …more an easy class but i cant recommend him enough less

Santiago is the reason I now study and love Anthropology. I had him for Understanding Culture, which every professor teaches differently. His class will make you think about the world in a totally different way; it can be beneficial to anyone. He is extremely passionate about his work, and his …more unorthodox methods make for very fun lectures! Take him less

Dr. Santiago is that dude he's wild and really into his course. it's really easy to go along his class he just wants discussion. Santiago feels for the students that actually participate and go along with the course. The reading that he assigns isn't bad at all people are just lazy because he …more explains and discusses the reading before. It's great. less
