Projects are extremely unnecessary (and useless). You spend the whole class talking about the project, and then you do it for the public and have to do it AGAIN for the class. Tests are easy, but I had the class for 3 hours straight and the lectures made it seem like 5. She is a super sweet lady, …more the class in general is just useless. less

This is class is ridiculous. When it starts out she doesn't give you good instructions on how to use the website and by the time you realize how to use it, you've already received a few zeros. It's a fine class if figure out how to use the website immediately. The professor is from Uganda and …more really hard to understand. less

Edith is so strict! She designs her assignments to be easy for her to grade, despite the fact that she only teaches ONE class. And if you don't follow her exact instructions, you get points off. Even if there is nothing incorrect about your response/submission. The project can be fun but is super …more in depth and lecture is pointless. Avoid if possible less

Very confusing instructions combined with harsh grading. All materials and assignments are online, but she doesn't understand how to use her own site. She is extremely hard to communicate with, face to face or via email. Her accent makes it even harder to understand, and the class is extremely …more boring. If you can avoid her at any costs, do it. less

She assigns a major project that you are supposed to work on from the first day of class, and is very unclear about exactly what she wants but grades very hard. The purpose of the class gets lost a few weeks into the semester, and she repeats herself when discussing the project during every. …more single. class. One day 3 hour class, and miserable. Avoid less

AWFUL!!! I took her online and had many problems! She would not respond to emails, and anytime we had questions about our huge project all she did was critique us instead of try to help, and just ask questions. Do not take her if you don't have to!

Lectures were long and boring. Power points were extremely vague. Tests were online, but had no idea how to study for them and they were 140 questions to be completed in 60 minutes.. not all multiple choice either.

Took for three hours once a week, avoid! She is very unclear on assignments and grading material. She has an accent and can be hard to understand but it is manageable. The tests were online with over 100 questions in an hour covering 4 or 5 chapters with no study guide. Online quizzes to do every …more Saturday and attendance was mandatory. less

I took the Community Nutrition class and I had the unfortunate experience of doing my community internship with her as a last resort. She is highly critical and embarrassed me in front of patients. She made me feel terrible on a daily basis which left me feeling extremely unconfident and question …more my career choice. This was actually years ago. less
