Elizabeth Towers is a quiet professor and very unclear with what she expects on written portions of tests. She uses a lecture heavy style for this class and is very monotone so the classes are agonizing for anyone who does not have interest in art. She can make all art seem like b.s. and you won't …more ever be able too interpret the way she wants you 2 less

Professor Towers is a respectable professor and one can tell that she is honestly passionate about art. She is a very nice woman outside of class, also. You can tell that she is really trying to get her message across about art, but her lectures are pretty boring and can easily put you to sleep. …more Pay attention in class and you'll get an easy A. less

Okay this class is literally terrible please don't take it. The lectures are extremely boring, she grades pretty harshly on the papers, and it's more of an art history class. She's not very confident and NO ONE answers her questions. If you actually want to take an intro to visual arts, do not take …more this prof. less

Lectures are boring but bearable. Tests are passable if you study even just a little bit- plus she makes great study guides.

If you're looking for an easy art class, don't take this class. Prof Towers gives a good study guide but good luck getting an A on her exam, the guidelines for an A on her exams are unknown. Worst grade this semester and it was an elective.

Professor Towers is very passionate about what she teaches. Her lectures can be boring at times but I found what she was teaching very interesting. The tests aren't very hard as long as you study the material and know the information she asks of you on the study guide that she gives out before …more tests. I would take her again! less

Every class is pretty much the same- walk in, listen to her lecture about the art displayed on the projector, and leave. BUT she's very passionate about the subject and I found myself enjoying listening to her talk about art for an hour and 15 minutes every class. 3 exams & two papers overall. …more Exams aren't easy but her study guides are very helpful less

Lectures are very heavy, talks to fill time. I didn't take any notes. Gives AMAZING study guides (exactly like the test). I just used my textbook to complete them and did well. Papers were pretty easy. The work is easy, you just have to be willing to sit through her boring lectures.

She grades weirdly hard for a gen ed class. She gives a study guide for test with everything on it but it's a lot of information you have to memorize.

Not a difficult class. Tests are all outlined on study guide given beforehand. The lectures are long and boring though
