I had Dr. Carpenter for Family Dev. over the Lifecycle... She's very nice (conservative in topic discussions) and helpful. Doesn't always give great notes, so look over the book some. Gives plenty of opportunity to make up bad test grades.

incredably pointless course. a high school student could have taught it better. everyone in the class agrees with this assesment. the "topic" is unclear, unfocused and unrelated to the course. i have had dr. c for 3 courses, 1 undergrad, 2 grad level....all pointless.

Her tests are very hard and you better read every chapter to do well. Have to do a lab with the class and it is pointless and u have to watch a child. Also pointless. Dont understand class at all.

I love Dr. C! She is the greatest. Class is sometimes boring but it is sooooo easy. If you need an A, this is the class to get it in. Sweet, sweet lady. LOVE HER!

Dr. Carpenter is a very nice teacher and her class was pretty easy, but it was very boring. Good class to take over the summer because it at least goes by fast.

Really nice lady... mostly boring. some assignments aren't explained well but if you ask she will help. the class is not hard but it is work consuming.

Children are my world and this class makes me want to change my major. Should be worth WAY more credit hours for all the work assigned. She is of almost no help and apparently thinks that students have nothing else to do except work for her class. pointless time consuming, USELESS work.
