Mr. Brooks-Livingston doesn't have an attendance policy, but he gives a lot of participation assignments (short) and some are take home. Make a friend in this class so they can tell you about the assignments. Tests are semi hard. Study what he talks about in class and you'll be fine! He doesn't …more accept late assignments, have to turn in during class. less

I would not recommend taking his American History class. All you do every day is go over power points which are word for word out of the book. You have textbook reading every night. Class is extremely boring. The tests are pretty hard and focus on little details from the book.

Incredibly boring teacher, extremely difficult to stay awake in class. No attendance policy, but don't let that fool you. He gives unannounced attendance quizzes frequently. The exams are very difficult and cover up to 14 chapters from the book, which is frankly, way too much to remember for a …more test. I would not recommend that you take him less

Class is incredibly easy, but boring. If you read the book and take the notes in class you're almost guaranteed an A. He offers two or three extra credit assignments a semester and multiple participation quizes where all you have to do is sign your name on a paper proving you were in class.

Mr. Brooks-Livingston's class was not the easiest, but it's definitely an achievable-A if a student is so motivated. He is witty and is a recent grad student. Yes he read off the powerpoints but he always explained things and made sure that everyone understood

I had Brooks-Livingston as a history professor and the class was dreadful. He goes way too fast and refuses to go back when asked in class. He gives long impossible tests. There is no attendance policy which is nice, but hes terrible. If you want to pass and learn things, then he is not the …more professor for you less

Brooks-Livingston is a good teacher. He uses powerpoints in class and then posts them on asulearn. He gives study guides for the midterm and final, but they are not all inclusive, so go over the powerpoints and you should be fine. I hardly read the book at all and have done fine in this class. Just …more go to class and take notes and you should be fine. less

This class is difficult. Make sure to take good notes and pay attention. Quizzes and tests feature obscure details, so be sure to study a lot. Incredibly interesting class, though.

Decent teacher. He really cares about teaching and the students well being (if you put forth an effort and attend class). He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and helpful jeopardy study guides. Attend class for participation grades!
