Worst professor I have ever had. Isn't clear about assignments and actually told me that I may have gotten a bad grade on my paper because "she was in a bad mood." She blames you for not understanding the material instead of her poor teaching skills. There is a ton of work and nothing interesting …more what so ever. Avoid at all costs. less

She does not explain her expectations and thinks we know what she wants to a "t". She has pretty no set deadlines and there is little to know help on assignments.

Incompetent teacher. Said at the beginning of the year she would rather research because she wasn't comfortable teaching. Assignments are extremely vague and her lectures serve no purpose. Doesn't grade your work unless you set an appointment with her. She spend an entire meeting going over another …more group's paper and then sent us on our way. Avoid! less

I had to drop this class solely because of Professor Loggins. She makes everything 10x more difficult than they should be. She constantly contradicts herself and confuses everyone. She is condescending. She is scatterbrained to the point where it effects your grade. I've taken psych research …more methods & it was easier than her class. Do not take. less

One word to describe this teacher: awful. Harsh but true. I'll keep it short and say I've NEVER been more frustrated with a class in my entire life. SOOO disorganized and frustrating.... it makes you not want to go to class. I would never take this class or teacher again.

The university knows she's a terrible teacher and sends someone in each semester to analysis her, the fact they allow her to come back every year makes the university and department look bad. This is a pointless class with an awful teacher who doesn't understand her material enough to clearly …more explain it to her students. DO NOT TAKE!! less

The class is a semester-long headache. A previous reviewer noted that the university sends someone in to analyze her class and it's true. We had a focus group with the rep and told him the problems we were all having with this class, and when she got the critique, she came back to us and was …more immediately defensive. Class got worse after that. less

She's a super tough grader, but honestly I learned a lot from the class because I asked questions every time I got stuck. She is very willing to work with you, but expect a lot of work. She teaches the class at a graduate level.

This class was one of my top two worst experiences in college. The assignments are exceptionally vague and require lots of work. I spent most of the time in class struggling to understand what the professor even wanted us to do. I spent quite a bit of time outside of class redoing assignments over …more and over. Avoid this professor at all costs. less

This was by far the worst professor i have had at Appalachian State. She is extremely vague to the point you do not understand what to do in her class. You will have something due at least every other day it feels like, and she takes forever to grade them all.
