This class is hard but Dr. Robbins is nice and she makes it interesting. The homework assignments are helpful and if you work hard you get a good grade. You really learn a lot, too.

This class is interesting but it is kind of hard. I liked the labs and the primates a lot. We did not really use the book much because Dr. Robbins didn't like it. She put her lectures on the internet though and that helps. I would definitely take another class from her.

Totally doesnt understand the concepts of a 'introduction course;' uses terms that she herself has made up-nothing that you can search on the internet; degrades your efforts to understand the information.

Give her about a year...she just finished her PHD, and like most new faculty she is teaching at a master's level. Should be a good teacher once she settles down. New teacher + difficult and sometimes boring material + needs to understand "intro course" = Disaster

She seems smart but kind of flighty and disorganized, which became a problem when getting our grades back. All semester I had NO idea what I would make in the class.

BEWARE. Her tests and essays are horrific. Got the word intro confused with honors

I really enjoyed her classes. I have taken two of them. She is a bit hard and expects a lot. I wouldn't take one of her classes if you have no interest in the subject matter.

Dr. Robbins teaches a lot of info in her classes and maybe some people think that is bad. I think her classes are interesting and I will take more in the future.

I really like this class. Evolution is interesting and I am going to take more classes on it. Dr. Robbins is funny and really nice. The labs are unexpected! Do not take the class if you don't like biological anthro though - it is hard.
