Great professor. Very kind and helpful, and makes the class (Arts of Oceania) interesting. Willing to help her students, and make sure that they understand the material if anything is unclear. The course is tough, but very enjoyable.

Very boring classes, she also asks the same questions over and over again even though it's apparent no one wants to answer or cares. Also refuses to show some pieces of art she deems "gross" which I found irritating. Not overly difficult though.

Really good teacher as far as helping out the students on papers and understanding the material. However, she is kinda a stickler on the exams...mainly just in the essays though. Good teacher though.

Great teacher. Pay attention in her class and you'll be fine. VERY helpful with papers, will read over your thesis and help you get it perfect before the paper is even DUE. Fair grading as well. She also teaches a good Native American Art Hist. class as well!

i took her Oceania class and it was miserable. i tried SO hard to understand what she was talking about and i seemed to get lost. i asked for help on multiple occasions. got feedback, but wasn't necesarily helpful. if you dont have a heavy work load i would recommend her, otherwise dont take her. …more she'll stress you out b/c of all the work she gives. less

Class was actually very interesting. I just brought a snack & listened to stories about New Zealand & all the places she's been. She talks like a preppy girl & acts really young. The midterm & the final were probably the hardest tests I've ever taken. Slide identification & long essays. Tough …more grader!! less

Simply did not like her or her class. I felt that all of the fun and excitement of the subject of art history was just sucked out, and replaced with tedium, and a professor who say "like" way too much. I say stay away if you can.
