Not really funny. Doesn't really answer questions. Just asks the questions right back at you. Won't let you turn anything in until you have sort of the right answer, which I guess is pretty awesome. Make sure you use those Significant Digits, if not expect lower grades.

Makes you feel stupid if you asks a question and then doesn't even really answer it. Forgets that most of us are not astronomy majors and treats us like we've been studying astronomy for over 20 years. Tests were RIDICULOUSLY hard and study guides didn't help. Hated his class.

Had him as a lab teacher. Does not answer questions well, makes fun of you sometimes. No sense of humor and kind of creepy. He never gave us any labs back so we never knew our grade, he didnt even grade them until December! The TA was better than he was!!!

Great teacher. Makes sure that you get an A before you turn your labs in. Love his sense of humor: sarcastic, but not malicious. Don't take life too seriously, and you'll do just fine!

He will fail you if you miss 3 labs. He will fail you if you miss an outdoor lab. You will get a zero for labs not done in pencil. You will lose points for not filling in the correct day, circling early/late lab (if applicable) or for not writing your last name. I haven't discovered anything …more else he likes to take off points for nor do I want to. less

He is really funning at lab, and pretty sarcastic. Just learn to have fun with him, and he is also entertaining during lab. I laughed a lot. Tuesday night lab didn't get to go out much because of clouds, but I learned a lot.

He ought to do research instead of teaching - he (probably) knows a lot about astronomy, but he's got no effective way to convey it. Once I understood things, the work was easy, but it was rare that he explained anything well. Drove me crazy. He assumes we know things that we have no reason to know.

AWFUL. Doesnt answer questions; doesnt tell you if you're right or wrong; doesnt teach you how to do the homework; you'll think you have one assignment due every week but he tricks you into two ridiculously impossible ones. My lab partner was a better teacher. Doesnt explain ANYTHING well if at …more all. STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! less
