A good professor, but gives strange projects. A big part of her assignments are reflections and writing about your feelings, but other than that the class is pretty laid back.

She's okay, I wouldn't complain too much. However, it's an art class and I feel like she critiques your art because it's not how she would have wanted it to turn out. This class is an easy A, but if your not a true artist be ready for a couple let downs.

I took her first year seminar course this semester called Expressive Arts, Connected World. DO NOT take if you're not very artistic and comfortable with others viewing your artwork. She forces you to draw, which I hate, and then judges you when you aren't good at it. No.

Try! It's an art class so it isn't lecture, paper, or textbook heavy. Give an effort to create art, even if it looks bad you'll pass. There is one big presentation but its easy. Lots of chances to show off your artwork to the class. Sometimes she lets you pick the music, and if she doesn't she …more still plays good music. There is a written final. less

She graded extremely hard even though the class was an expressive arts class.

Dr. Plato is a nice person, but I learned nothing in her class. She's big into turning work into play and mindfulness and generally made me super uncomfortable. She's super inconsistent and unclear at all times and a bit spacey. Her attendance is unnecessarily strict and she expects more effort of …more her students than she's willing to put into class. less

Very scatter brained. Changes due dates on a weekly basis. Didnt have a syllabus for the first two months of class. You will not be excused if you are sick EVER. Literally learn everything about the moon and NOTHING about teaching art for elementary school. Never on track.

Professor Plato is super creative and kind-hearted, however her class has absolutely nothing to do with education and how art can be used as a teaching tool. Easy if you go to class though.

Dr. Plato SHOULD NOT be an art teacher. She was all over the place, was NEVER clear about assignments, graded things unfairly/too harsh, and you'll learn everything about the moon but nothing about how to integrate art into elementary school. Her class was overall frustrating and inefficient. I am …more a straight A student, and her class SUCKED. less
