Good natured, fun professor who knows her subject. You'll do a lot of work; it's not hard per se but there's a lot of it. Homework every night. If you do the homework though and look the vocab over the night before you'll do well on the tests. And it's not boring at all.

Wonderful professor! Sweet, helpful and very good at teaching. She knows the material well, and even though it's a little bit of homework every night, it's the only way to really learn a new language. Tests are simple and everyone is called on equally to answer questions in class. I loved it …more and definitely recommend Mrs. McNeil! less

The most amazing professor I have ever had! She is so helpful and nice; she also knows French like the back of her hand and is able to get everything across in a clear and concise way. I HIGHLY recommend her!

Madame McNeil is a good teacher, but she assigns ALOT of work. That's really the only complaint I have with her. Other than that, she's pretty fair with grading and in class and I really appreciated that. Not the best, not the worst. Just okay.

Madame McNeil is SO nice. I am terrible at French, but I still managed to get a good grade in the class because she's amazing. Take her if you can!

This woman is a saint. I literally have never seen her be rude to anyone, and I've never heard a negative word against her. She is a fantastic teacher. I've learned so much, and it's really because of her. I 100% would recommend to anyone. Please. If you can, take Lynn McNeil. You will not regret …more it. less

Mme McNeil was an AMAZING professor. She is, honestly, one of the sweetest professors I have had in my time at App State and she is very helpful. I was already good at French, but she just made the class so much more enjoyable. You will NOT regret taking her class.

Mme McNeil is a wonderful instructor. She emphasizes class participation--so you can't come to class and not expect to speak in French--but she creates a safe environment for learning how to speak French. She does an excellent job going over the material but it always willing to go over anything …more you have trouble with. less

I loved Mme McNeil's class. I have taken french for eight years and her class was by far the most helpful for me in learning the language. I made an A with not much effort but I also really learned the language. I would take her class again in a heartbeat.
