Great professor!! Dr. Oliver's exams come straight from her notes, she gives lots of visuals so you know what you're looking at,and she is willing to help anyone. She adds points to your final grade for not missing class but deducts if you miss too much class. Overall, I look forward to taking …more another class from her!! less

Dr. Oliver is a very nice woman. She is willing to help you. The tests come from her powerpoints (boring) which she posts on asulearn, however the tests don't correlate very well with them. I have a 4.0 and struggled on some of her tests. Grade comes from 4 tests, lowest dropped and one huge group …more semester project. Extra credit for good attendance. less

Dr. Oliver is by far my favorite professor I've had at App so far. She's also my advisor so I know her pretty well. The tests are difficult but she's a great professor. She knows what she's talking about and is always willing to help you if you don't understand something. If you pay attention in …more class and study, you'll be fine. less

Not an easy class, I struggled with her tests. Her classes are SO boring, unfortunately she does have an attendance policy but it's only if you want extra credit. She was a really nice lady, but she read straight from the powerpoints.

Dr. Oliver is a nice enough lady. However, her class is hard and don't recommend taking it if you aren't majoring/minoring in a related field.

I loved this class but I think I was the only one! This material came easy to me so I actually enjoyed her tests(as weird as that is to say) and I looked forward to coming to class. Study the notes and come to class and you'll do well. Natural fibers are her BFF!

I loved this class, it's my favorite class I've taken so far. It was easy to follow along with the power points and you could review them all on asulearn to study for the test. Tests were a little though but you have easy asulearn quizzes that you can take over and over until you get 100%. …more Definitely recommend this class. less

I love Dr. Oliver! She is really sweet. I had her for Apparel and Consumer Behavior first semester of my freshman year. I definitely recommend taking her class. There is no homework except for one group project at the end of the semester. She does take attendance, and if you show up every day, you …more can receive extra credit on exams. Take her class! less

Dr. Oliver is really great. Consumer Textiles was difficult at times, but it wasn't that bad. There are short weekly quizzes and a few exams. The labs were really easy because you can work with classmates, and you are really just graded on participation. Class was let out early a few times because …more the power points weren't super long. less

without Dr. Oliver, I would not be where I am today. if you show interest in her classes, such as doing extra credit, making good grades, asking questions, and contributing to class discussion, she is very likely to recommend you for jobs, internships, scholarships etc. Good lady to know and have …more on your side. less
