Dr. Nepali was NOT a good teacher at all! She moves through the material way too fast, and has a very thick indian accent which makes it hard to understand anything she says. She is nice and wants you to pass, but she makes the material difficult to understand.

I've always been pretty good at Chem, and as soon as I started "learning" from her, all of that went out the window. Even if I could understand her, (the first week every time she said element I swore she was saying lemon) she was not a good teacher. She blew through material and never …more fully answered my questions. less

For Organic Lab- I did very well on the lab reports because she would always answer any questions that I had. This is if you go to her office hours though. She never acted like she was too busy for me even when she looked like she was having a long day.

She is a much better teacher one on one. In class shes not very clear and flys through the ppt without answering questions very well. Shes very helping though if you go to her for help during her office hours. She was so helpful when i went to her then and explained everything much clearer. DO the …more homework.. not mandatory but very helpful! less

Chemistry's already tough. She's not the best chemistry teacher around but if you attend class, you'll get a lot of opportunities for extra credit and group work helps too. Best recommendation: don't miss class and GO TO SI.

Stay away from this professor if you can. She is very unclear and unhelpful and puts WAY too much information on each test. Expects you to do problems that she can't even figure out for herself. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Dr. Nepali is a WONDERFUL teacher. I had her for CHEM 1, and made sure to have her for CHEM 2. You'll hear people complain about her accent (She is from Shri Lanka, sp?) but, if you sit close and pay attention, you'll understand every word she says! The quizzes are somewhat easy, but the tests …more are very hard. Go to office hours. She is very helpful! less

She isn't the worst teacher in the world, but if you get bored easily, her class is not for you. She repeats some things several times and overall seems to just be stumbling through. I don't think she's very good in one on one. Her tests and quizzes are easy if you study. Its hard to know what to …more write down and what not to. Be careful... less

I would certainly avoid her if at all possible. She is extremely difficult to understand and over-complicates everything. If you get stuck with her, utilize the SI instructor and do your extra credit notebook! Good luck kiddies!
