it's not like you can avoid this class. she's the only one teaching it and it's required for fcs majors. BUT BE WARNED, SHE'S EVIL and you will suffer all semester. Good luck.

I hear the wicked witch music from the Wizard of Oz when I see her. If you are asked to do something by her and you don't< get ready for hell on earth, even if you were a favorite before you are persona non grata after. I'll post more after semester.

Well I's good to see I'm not the only one she's flat out mean to. From sarcasm to demoralization of students and their beliefs, this is the WORST professor I've ever had. I can't wait till this semester is over. I used to be a straight A student - Beware - Steer clear if you can!!

She seems so miserable that it's hard to believe that she is actually passionate about the topic of children. If I were a child she would scare me to death. She obviously doesn't know how to deal with adults. She is just mean, unhelpful,& sarastic to her students.

Dr. H is clear with her objectives and by studying them, I did well on the test. Sometimes the lectures dragged but that happens. It was a drag havingall of the slacker students who don't know how to think for themselves or creatively -- it really slowed Dr. H down. She has high expectations but …more if you do the assigned reading, you'll do fine. less

tests are vague, assignments are vague, she is vague. grades do not reflect students work, she will listen to what you have to say but never changes the way she does things. only take if there is not another option

This lady has no idea about experiences with children- she teaches child development courses but does she have any children of her own? Her experience with children is few and far between. Don't take her unless she is the only choice. The 3 hour class could be better spent counting rocks around …more campus. less

I agree with the person below. This lady had a sour attitude all semester. I dreaded going to class it is a waste of time.
