She makes attendance mandatory. Also, if you use your phone or computer in class, or start falling asleep in class she'll chew you out, and tell you that you just shouldn't come to the class if that happens. Also sustainability is social justice heavy, but she makes the class completely revolve …more around that. less

Such a good teacher. The class really challenges you but you definitely learn something.

Dr. Witter is passionate about what she teaches, and 2400 is difficult because it can seem challenging to some and elementary to others (due to the wide range of students in the class) but she does a good job of grading fairly to the individual. There's a lot of reading, but you can skip some for …more sure. Actively engage and you should be fine. less

My favorite professor I've ever had. I still have a good academic relationship with Dr. Witter and hope to take classes with her in the future! Does a great job of connecting SD issues with people.

Great professor that is very knowledgable and cares about what she teaches! She is very involved in SD and you will most likely run into her again. Pay attention in class, she notices when you participate. Make sure to study for her tests and understand concepts from the reading.

Witter is a super sweet and respectable woman. Although, I was frustrated by her essay criteria. She didn't explain really what she wanted for the tests and graded it super hard. Her exams are super easy but her she makes you work for a good grade on the papers.

I worked my ass off in this class, jeopardizing time for my other classes, constantly making sure I kept an A. I met with her in and out of class and got A's in everything and still didn't get an A in the class. I feel not only let down by this professor but genuinely betrayed.

I took Creative and Sustainable Practice with Dr. Witter and it was by far my favorite class the whole semester. She does assign a lot of reading each week, but it's all really good material. I would recommend Dr. Witter if you are truly passionate about what you are studying-- otherwise you might …more be overwhelmed by the work load. less

Good professor. Class is usually interesting when people participate in the topics/debates. Some of the material is dry but it is overall interesting. I took away a lot from the course. Pop quizzes. 2 exams that aren't bad if you study but you can't get away with not studying.
