Dr. Redmond is a REALLY nice person who cares about Media Literacy & teaching. My ONLY complaint is that she has a spastic (some would say enthusiastic) personality &, as such, she can be unclear about bigger assignments as far as what you're supposed to do. However, when you're not doing a …more project (usually you're not), the class is pretty easy. less

Pretty easy class and very nice energetic lady. My only complaint is that she requires too much work for a 2 credit course.

I'd definitely recommend taking Dr. Redmond for 2300, she's so passionate about media literacy and it shows. Class is really never boring and the two projects aren't difficult at all. There are easy weekly reflective assignments and she's willing to help you with anything at all. Overall, great …more class. less

GREAT PROFESSOR. She made me add a minor of media literacy because she made it so interesting and fun. I would definitely recommend her. Her lectures are interesting and she is not a dull person. Attendance helps your grade, it's semi-mandatory, but I missed 6 classes and still have an A. Grades …more are postings on Sundays, 2 group projects and 1 paper less

Dr. Redmond is great. There's a good bit of work for it only being worth 2 credit hours but it's not overbearing by any means. She also gives candy every day but beware that she has a strict attendance policy and does NOT like when people are on their technology when they aren't supposed to.

TAKE HER! Dr. Redmond is great, she is very passionate about her subject and students. The class is a semester-long group project, which she gives ample class time to complete. There are lots of grades throughout the semester as well. Attendance is taken into this. Don't use your phone/laptop while …more she is lecturing. She also brings candy everyday. less

Theresa was a great professor! However she does talk very fast and loves to fit as much as she can into one lecture. The website project is a semester long group project so make sure you pick a good group to work with.

Energetic, fun, passionate. Skip class be prepared to receive an email that says "Our time is sweet." Be prepared to feel like you're taking a middle school class. Participation is key. Always talk in class and you'll do fine. Great professor!

She is one of my favorite teachers on campus. Her personality is so uplifting, basically an angel (not kidding). She makes the lectures so interacting and engaging in a such creative way. I think every teacher should strive to be like Theresa Redmond.
