He is extremely hard to understand which makes it hard to learn the material. 2 tests and a paper.. you have to turn in all your notes from the whole semester... i had to teach myself a lot of the material to pass the tests

VERY boring class. You watch terrible movies that are difficult to relate to the material. Professor Tu seems uninterested in getting to know anyone in the class. Two tests and one paper. Easy A if you know everything on the study guide, but you will suffer through the class.

Its an easy class you watch half way descent movies about the religions and they are usually the essay questions for the test, the rest is multiple choice. If you listen in class and struggle through his poor English you will do fine and, attendance is not mandatory

The only thing I didn't like was that you HAD to be there for class or you missed important notes. He sticks to his study guide. His accent wasn't THAT bad and he said multiple times to ask if something needed to be repeated. 3 tests (20 mc and 2-3 simple essay qs), one group project and lots of …more extra credit opportunities. Take him for an easy A! less

He was nice, but kind of confusing. His english is broken and is sometimes hard to understand. Although attendance is not mandatory, if you miss a class you are in trouble because tests are based exactly off the notes taken in class. Overall, pretty easy class!

That class was a waste of time. You don't actually learn anything. He gives you extra credit opportunities, but for me he never actually put them into my grade. He seems very uninterested in the class and doesn't help you too much.

Nice professor. Class is fairly easy. One big group group project (good idea to get it done early). Tests are online. Fun class if you make it fun.

Dr. Tu is nice, but often seems disengaged, both in lecture and handling of assignments. The detachment is probably a factor of the cultural and linguistic barrier, though. The class is an easy A.

Totally disengaged. We did nothing in class, and consequently I learned very little.

Nice guy, but a useless class. I learned close to nothing. We had two grades total. He did not even incorporate the final exam which many of us studied really hard for to make up for the fact we only had two grades. The mid-term seemed random. Most classes were project presentations and guest …more speakers. less
