The nutrition course itself is difficult. However, professor Carpenter provides multiple resources to help students succeed. The class consists heavily of lecture content. It may seem boring at times, but she gives many helpful hints about the during the lecture.

Had her for a three hour class one day a week, very painful but she was aware and did her best to let us out as early as possible while still covering the necessary material. Very fair tests and provided a detailed study guide for each. If you got a question wrong and you argue your point she often …more gave credit to your answer. Wants you to succeed less

Long lectures of boring material, but that's nutrition. Sandy does her best to make it interesting. First assignment is the hardest. Tests are easy if you prepare by reading book, studying powerpoints, study guide and going to review sessions. If you don't take it seriously, it will be hard.

slowest talker I have ever met in my life. spends the entire first half of class re-reading her ENTIRE lecture from the week before. mean. won't let u miss class for anything and gives you half credit even if she said it was fine for you to leave early. NEVER ANSWERS EMAILS. class is 3 hours long …more and she still manages to keep us OT?!!!!!!! less

Her lectures are boring and I suggest you bring something else to work on during the three hours you are in class. While I suggest you study the powerpoints for tests, she gets her test questions from testbank. The papers are easy as long as you follow her rubrics and know your material. She likes …more class participation and is a very nice person. less
