helpful-very laid back, not too hard-the test are basically from the book's questions so you do need to read the chapters

Classes are easy but very dull. The man does not teach! Wording of tests are difficult but come straight out of book. Overall not too hard of a class

Fun class. Gives you points back on tests. Class discussions are interesting. Take him.

Enjoyed the class. He makes you "think" about the issues dealing with ethics how they apply in the real world and not just what the book says. The reading of the book is up to you, he's not going to spoon feed you the material. If you take the initiative and do the work you will be …more successful. less

His class was somewhat entertaining with the case studies but it got pretty dull after that. Do the online quizzes and bring a laptop to class to stay busy and you'll do fine.

Very laid back sort of class. The course consists of online quizzes and 4 in class multiple choice tests. It is not the most exciting class, but it is certainly an easy B-A depending on how much effort you put into studying for the tests. Not my favorite class, but diffidently not a hard course.

15-minute discussion at the beginning of class is entertaining, the rest is dull. But, it's a required course so Padgett is a decent option. Overall an unremarkable professor, but definitely not a bad choice. Don't need the book; PowerPoints are enough to get an A or B. Make sure you turn in …more handouts. He won't remind you, but they count at the end. less

Hes a nice guy! followed the schedule and has 3 exams total. i would suggest reading. I believe he has gotten rid of tech in the classroom now- so bring paper. Dresses well- easy to talk to. He will def help you if you approach him. Answers emails consistently. close with collegues. Good prof to …more know if wanting a career or grad school reference. less

Do not take Padgett if avoidable. He's a nice guy and this class is relatively pointless. However, save your GPA. Need a 95% to get an A (unheard of). Your grade is determined solely by 3 tests, over material that is not covered in class. You simply talk about news articles every single class. The …more material would be so easy if it was just taught. less

Barry Padgett is by far the best professor at Belmont University. His lectures are interesting and engaging and he throws extra credit out like candy. Tons of easy quizzes; test take a little time to study for and are definition heavy. You will be using the textbook to study for test. If you can, …more definitely take Padgett's class! less
