Very hard class and professor. You will need to intimately learn the material. Expect to spend 15+ hours on homework a week to pass. Very smart, still a new professor though and learning how to teach it well.

He knows the material well, but he lacks in teaching it properly. He's not very helpful in class and doesn't make strides to better help students. At midterm I had a "c" but ending with a "B" after to spending hours on studying!

Not for slackers, do your work and Dr. Muterspaugh will help with any problem you might have. If you're into science make sure to take your physics class with a leading researcher in the astronomy field to get your foot in the industry.

Before taking his course I had trouble with Physics. His level of excitement for the subject helped to motivate me in the way I needed to succeed in this area of my education. His evaluation processes are very fair. You are expected to learn the material. You will do well in his class if you are …more willing to work and want to learn. less

Cares about attendance. Homework must be in within the first minute of class or it will not be accepted. Must be in class within first 10 mins or you will not be on roll. Fails you for 4 unexcused absents. MUST STUDY HARD FOR TEST.

Atteandance is mandatory, miss more than 3 classes he will fail you. More than 10 mins late you are considered absent. HW worksheet pretty easy most the time if you wrote good notes . Due every week won't accept hw more than a minute late seriously! So be on time when turning in hw! Study study! …more You work for your grade. Good grade if you take notes less

He is the hardest professor I have ever taken in the PHY 2111 lab, we were 24 students and after the midterm 7 left in his class and it was lab one credit . Don't take him, I don't know why people gave him good rates unless its him doing these rates. Five mins late, you can't participate in lab. …more two missing classes, you fail the course. less

Terrible professor. Extremely tough course work. Lots and lots of homework given on topics most of them are not covered in class.
