Very clear and thorough. Too bad she isn't teaching anymore. If you take notes and study, you can't get a bad grade.

She clearly doesn't know what is expected of Vanderbilt professors. She comes to class not having worked out example problems, and then can't teach half the lesson cause she can't figure out how to do things. Her lectures are vague, and most students are successful due to previous chemistry taken. …more Nice person, but has a lot to learn as a teacher less

She really is not on the same page as the other professors for the class. She doesn't usually have any idea what's on the tests, and also doesn't review her lectures and practice problems before class. Lectures are very problem heavy, but you're better off teaching yourself the content. She also …more gets problems wrong often. She is very nice, though. less

She isn't on the same page as the other Chem 102a professors. She doesn't really know what to expect for the tests, nor does she prepare for lectures. Her lectures aren't very content heavy, so you're better off just reading the textbook. She is very nice, though.

Professor Sutton is a very good teacher and her lectures are essential to the Chem tests. She is also very kind and courteous during her office hours, and is always looking to help a student. Only downside is that she teaches an 8am.

She is very nice and engaging, but beware that at times does not really know what is going on and confuses the students. Very willing to help out though. Like her as a person, not so much a professor.

I absolutely loved Dr. Sutton. She made an 8 am class enjoyable and captivating. In the end, though, you have to take ownership of the class. Exam prep is up to you.

She seemed very ill-prepared for class, although this was her first semester teaching the class. She is a great person, and is willing to help, but she gets equations wrong too often. Put in enough work and the class is manageable.

Very very enthusiastic! Although the content of the class determines that listening to the lecture alone would only help very little, she tries really hard to get the ideas into students' head. Hope you can make less mistakes on trivial stuff, because doing so spends your precious lecture time on …more nothing. less
