flowers/vegetation throughout campus, green grass year round (even in the desert), options to eat are limited, people are generally polite, lots of student resources for a variety of needs, lots of scholarship opportunities for research and minorities

The University of Texas at El Paso is a great school and has various opportunities and resources for its students to grow and develop as individuals. The social aspect of the school could be better along with school pride the campus lacks. Overall it was a great school to attend.

Campus is always in the best conditions. The university is always moving forward in making the campus look and feel great.

You have to really research which professors youre taking, in my experience, they go from crazy smart and interesting to really boring and mediocre. A thing I HATE is solving anything related with paperwork, people in offices are not qualified to do the job and often give wrong information

If you want to study engineering, UTEP is an incredible opportunity. It is cheaper than a lot of schools but it also has Top Tier Recognition, which only 130/2400 of 4 year-universities all around US. You will have the plenty of opportunities, all you gotta do is get As and join organizations. There is a crazy amount of internships if you follow.

This school would be a lot better if they hired the right people for the job. Most of the professors are horrible. Some don't understand we are students that want to be educated and are trying to get degree. We need professors who want to help and be there for their students not hold them back and discourage them.

Its a very cute school but when it comes to paperwork, aka financial aid and vet aid its a big mess of you harassing people to get work done, veteran aid kids are constantly left in the dark about their financial assistance. But the school and some of its professors are nice, students are great as well, Im shy but I felt welcome On campus

This place has close to 300 clubs and organizations, annual career fairs, cultural events, some crazy dorm happenings, lit tailgates (regardless of the Team stats), and a lot of space on campus to sit, study, ride bikes, skateboards, scooters, or just have a stroll though. Some of the eating joints just off campus also offer student discounts.

The only reason I attend Utep, is because it is cheaper than most universities. However, I have lost a large amount of respect for Utep because they hire the WORST professors I have ever met. I might as well teach myself if that's going to be case. Utep does not care for their students. If they did, it would be a better university.

The food is expensive.

I came to UTEP for Engineering Leadership, and I love the program teachers are tuff but, it is a cool environment.
