Very smart, funny, irreverent. One of the best profs at UTA. Wish I could have taken more than one class with her.

Senior Seminar- It's hard to adjust to her. She's extremely intelligent but a little hard to relate to. If you LISTEN and take her advice, you'll do fine. But she, and specifically this class, requires A LOT of work.

She is on a higher plane and walks her own path. This professor is frequently involved in research of her own, which adds to the classes she teaches. She is appreciative of a student that speaks his/her own mind.

Writing is expected to be on a different plane than you may be used to so you better shape up those skills. She'll help you if you just ask. Comments on papers were at times less than helpful. She is very intelligent and seems generally fair with grading.Make sure to read what is assigned b/c she …more doesn't go over it in class & you need to know it! less

Very tough professor. An academic but not boring. She requires thoughtful analysis and discussion. If you are not willing to speak up about the theories discussed, you are wasting her as a resource. 2 tests and 3 papers, all very challenging. She stated she does not give many As. Improved my …more understanding and writing. less

Great professor. Absolutely brilliant person-she is so smart that it is hard to keep up sometimes. You will learn a lot from her if you keep up with the reading and are not afraid to speak up in class. She is very approachable and answers emails quickly. This class only had 2 papers.

Very difficult to keep up with a times. She expects specific things but often fails to provided specifications, expecting you to read her mind.

Class is based on discussion questions the students bring. Her responses are meandering and unclear, leaving the students to bandy around vague speculations. She often forgets key points from the reading. The reading load is heavy and yields little accomplishment. The course has no assignments …more (i.e. no sense of progress). I feel my time is wasted. less
