easy class and pretty easy to get a good grade. can be boring at times, she is really smart and knows what she's talking about. But wouldn't recommend going to class if ur really tired one day, you will def. fall asleep

I really don't like philosophy and I love this class, mostly because Dr. McKay kept everyone interested in what we were discussing. She's very helpful and has a good sense of humor.

I hated philosophy. I still have a hard time understanding it, but Mckay knows what she is talking about. Assigning few papers and no tests other than the midterm and final. Her class is more about discussion than lecture, she really tries to get her class invloved ... i.e. connecting Aristotle to …more college drinking. less

McKay is the best! She will really help you anytime you need it and she doesn't fill her class with ridiculous ammounts of work. Plus she manages to make the worst subject in the world interesting.

interesting class discussions but a tough grader. there's always a formula to her grading that can never be completely satisfied.

Dr. McKay is brilliant! She's a phenomenal teacher, but a hard grader. She's really great at bringing the philosophy into English so that everyone can understand it, but she's a tough grader. She expects a lot. The class is mostly discussion though, so if you miss a class, good luck!

Dr. McKay has been the best teacher I have had to far at Catholic. The class is a mixture of discussion and lecture, but you can talk only if you want she doesnt call anyone out. As long as you do the readings and attend class regularly you will do fine. She expects alot but gives alot in …more return. DEFINITELY take her class if you can. less
