she is really nice lady, but not the best for a teacher. i dont think she comprehends that new students dont speak philosophic language and would like relatable discussion. if you pay attention in class and read the text its easy. just dont rely on her to help you out

Pretty easy grader, most boring professor ever..called me to her office for being disruptive (when another teacher gave me extra credit for my participation). I really loved my other philosophy classes and this was just terrible.

In a couple of words, avoid this professor at all cost. Seems like shes new to teaching and only teaches about views she likes/agrees on. Save your self the trouble and dont thake 201, 202 with her. I did and hated every second of it....

This class is pretty easy and the topic is interesting... but I literally could not sit through this class every other day. I skipped sometimes just because she is so monotone and so boring! I'm checking the time constantly in that class because I am so bored. She's just so bland. Easy class, …more boring teacher. less

She is the most god awful professor in the whole entire world. She has no idea what she's talking about and half my class this semester took it as a PASS/FAIL because everyone is failing. She is useless, not available for extra help, and contradicts herself every lecture.

Not an easy class but I found Sr. Gardner to be an overall good teacher and enjoyed the class overall. Prior to this class, I had no interest in this class and was "scared" of Philosophy but after a semester with her, I have come to enjoy it.

She is a good teacher that does a great job of explaining difficult concepts. All tests and quizzes are straightforward. Also is very kind

Do NOT take her. She is so unclear with her explanations, is not merciful with grades in the slightest, lectures the whole time leaving almost no room for discussion (in a philosophy class!), and when you do try to discuss things with her or bring up new points she shuts you down and is not open to …more what you are saying at all. Truly awful professor. less
