Not a good teacher at all. He is not easily understood and has a thick accent from god knows where. He's not helpful at all if you have questions. Also, when it comes to tests studying EVERYTHING because he likes to put random things that he didn't even cover in class. If you wanna take this class …more make sure its not with him. less

Very hard to understand. Not helpful at all. Lectures are very boring. You have to teach yourself everything. Tests are very confusing all essays. I would never recommend to take this course with him.

I am a sociology major and this is the worse class I have ever taken. If you like clarity or learning I would recomend not taking this class. If it is required like it was for me well... Goodluck you are in for a treat.

He is all over the place. His lectures make no sense and have nothing to do with the tests. He also has a strange grading criteria and the homework assignments are impossible to get a B or above. Took this class as an elective, worst decision ever.

Took this an an online course. I am a STEM major trying to fill in some elective slots. I would like to tell you both the good and the bad but, I could not find any positive things to say. here are the bad: Google will teach you everything since the teacher does not, read a lot, switch majors, …more and give up. seriously, don't take this class. less

Prof Riguera is a funny guy. To be honest I don't know how I passed with a B. He isn't super clear on how to get a good grade (grading criteria is meh at best). Just happy I got a B. A lot of stress before I found out I passed because I had no idea where I stood in the class. Might take him again …more since I know what to expect. less

I am a sociology major and this is the hardest class I have ever taken. Professor Riguera is a very nice person but he lacks organization during lectures. The text book he chose for the class was TERRIBLE. He is not clear at all for what he is looking for in assignments and when asked for help he …more is extremely unhelpful. Avoid if you can. less

By far the worst professor I've ever had in my life. Unclear tests/homework assignments, terrible grading system, and unbelievably unavailable and unresponsive to emails. Do not take him unless it is absolutely required.
