Intriguing. Lot's of fascinating stories. He gets at the heart of things, unlike other Theo profs who are so caught up in scholarly debate. Good for learning about spirituality

Fr. Regis is one of the best Professors at CUA, especially in the Theology Department. While he might not always advance the topic in class, he is funny and engaging. I only wish I had taken more of his classes!

Fr. Regis is the best teacher I have ever had. Loves teaching and loves his class. Get to know him and you won't be disapointed. Allow yourself to learn too!!!

He is a wonderful guy and is very engaging, but do not take his class if you are not hardcore catholic or on the quieter side. The whole grade is participation and gospel analysis, which is hard to do if you do not have a deep understanding of religion because he expects a lot from you. Its not a …more lot of work and an interesting class though. less

Very brilliant and entertaining professor. Operates strictly under the Socratic method so you must stay awake in class. Class objectives were fuzzy, and the class organization was sometimes unclear, he has no tests. However, you do have to right weekly reflections on the Sunday readings, which was …more a very beneficial exercise less

Quite easily the worst teacher I have ever had. Where to begin? He has been teaching at CUA forever (over 30 years?)and still doesn't have this course mapped out. Rather than just preparing material ahead of time, he singles out students to raise topics, calling that the "Socratic method".

This was by far the most disappointing educational experience I have ever received. This professor will use his "Socratic method" to parse little details while never bothering to give students the big picture. In a class of maybe 9 or so students, literally no one understood the text we spent …more months studying. It was painful to go to his class. less
