Cool guy but philosophy to me wasn't too interesting! If you have a good LC community it will make class a lot more fun! Try to be involved in class or it does get really boring!

Overall, he is a good teacher. He takes the time to explain the stuff, but also provides relevant and exciting examples.

I had LC two years ago but I see Mr. Brungardt around campus all the time. He's such a nice guy and he was the reason why I pressured a Philosophy minor. His diagrams/handouts are the best way to study Philosophy too.

I LOVE MR. B!!! He was so helpful and really cared about his students. His handouts are the best I have ever gotten from a professor. He is a tough grader, but he's very fair and will help you succeed if you try. John's the best, take his classes!!

Mr. Brungardt is a very nice and intelligent man. His class, for the majority of the time, was extremely boring and the 50 minutes draggggs on. As long as you work on the assigned essays, and study for his tests, you'll end up with a good grade.

Brungardt cares about his students and wants the best for them. He looks to keep everyone engaged in class even when he knows people do not want to be there. The content that is covered is boring and the class can feel very long but you don't have to do any of the readings, just study and write …more essays from his handouts. less

Professor Brungardt is an excellent professor of philosophy. He does a great job of relaying generally profound topics to students of all levels. His handouts are very helpful and he has a great sense of humor! I highly recommend taking any of his classes.
