He is an expert Aquinas scholar and metaphysician. He is by no means an easy teacher, but he is one of the best in the university other than Socolowski. Highly recommended.

Extremely clear with what he is teaching. Goes through each step methodically and thoroughly. And at the start of each class, goes over the important things from the last class. Plus, he's uhh.. brilliant.

Monsignor Wippel is by the far the legend of the philosophy department. He is clear and recognizes that philosophy is difficult for the new generation. He goes over each day the previous lecture before starting new material. I learned so much! Take him or you will regret it!
