Hard class with a lot of reading, Pretty easy grader but must be concise with your explanations.

Great teacher! Really explains things well. If you pay attention in class and take notes there wont be any surprises on the tests.

One of two of my favorite teachers at CUA. Has a great sense of humor, is very kind, and very clear. Repeats thoughts from previous classes so things stay fresh in your mind. I never read any of the readings except for the ones I had to present on, but I still understood the material from his …more lectures. Played a DMB song for the last class - love hi less

At first, he might come across having a good sense of humor and funny and good-natured. However, do not be fooled. Later in the year, I gradually became less humored by him. He's in fact, a very harsh grader. Especially on papers. He's very unreasonable when he grades papers and overall I did not …more think he was a very encouraging teacher. less

Good lectures/class discussions. You must read the texts. Some are difficult but he helps you understand. He grades papers way to hard for a philosophy class. Make sure you follow the rubric exactly right on papers. Grammar, punctuation, the whole bit. Also, thinks he's funny.

He is a professor who really knows his stuff, and clearly loves teaching it. He is available often to meet with, and takes a real interest in his students. There is quite a bit of reading though, so be prepared.
