Professor Lewis is a pretty good teacher. She will teach you how to write well, but in a very confusing manner. Everyone ends up with a B or B+ if you just put in the time and effort. Ask her questions on your paper prior to submission for an increased grade. She is very accessible as a mentor.

She's a great prof but is definitely the toughest and expects a lot from the students. However, you will be a much better writer than students who have easier LSP profs. If she gives you instructions for a memo or brief, follow them exactly; don't drop points over something stupid. A LOT of …more work, but it pays off in the end. less

A course on professor mind-reading 101. Take down everything she says because how she wants the paper structured is all that matters...ignore trying to be creative for this course...it will only hurt you.

She is inconsistent with grading, does not grade anonymously like advertised. Would never take another class with her again.
