His lectures were pretty confusing and I never really grasped what was going on. That being said, he was very willing to meet with students after class and give extensions on papers if we were confused. Nice guy, but lectures could use more structure.

you write a lot of papers (one per week), but some are cut short. lectures are based on that week's paper. he gives extra credit opportunities so take advantage of them because they will help your overall grade. even if you don't do well on the papers, if you show improvement he will take that into …more consideration when calculating your final grade. less
